Paediatric Immediate Life Support Training (ePILS) is a specialised course designed to equip healthcare professionals and carers with essential skills for responding to medical emergencies in children. This training focuses on immediate life support techniques for paediatric patients, including CPR for infants and children, choking management, and treatment for severe allergic reactions and other critical conditions. Participants will gain practical experience through hands-on scenarios and simulations, ensuring they are prepared to deliver effective and compassionate care in urgent situations.
Who is this training for?
This Resuscitation Council accredited course is designed for healthcare professionals working with or responsible for the health and safety of children. It provides a variety of skills, from managing a deteriorating child, identifying causes of deterioration and treating cardiac arrest in children, to developing team leadership abilities and finding out what it takes to be an effective team member in a cardiac arrest emergency.
This course meets the Core Sills Training Framework (CSTF) Level 3 in Paediatric Resuscitation. Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points are also awarded following attendance on this course.

Course Structure
The ePILS course combines half a day of e-learning with half a day of face-to-face learning in our Course Centre, or alternatively at your own venue if you have a number of team members to train.
Pre-Course Preparation
Before the course, you will be registered on our Learning Management System (LMS). Here, you can access pre-course course modules and multiple choice question (MCQ) paper that will prepare you for your face-to-face session.
You will receive your course manual at least two weeks before the course. Candidates are expected to read the manual in preparation for the course.
