How often do I need to renew my BLS certificate?

BLS certification is valid for one year. The Resuscitation Council UK and CSTF recommend annual refreshers to maintain competence.

Who needs BLS training?

All clinical facing healthcare professionals and administrative staff in healthcare settings should undertake BLS training annually. This includes receptionists, healthcare assistants, support workers, and administrative staff, not just clinical staff.

Can you deliver BLS at our workplace?

Yes, on-site BLS training is our most popular option for GP surgeries, dental practices, and care homes. We bring all equipment and can train groups of up to 14. Contact us on 07958 915146.

What is the difference between BLS and eILS?

BLS is a 2 hour course covering basic CPR and AED use, suitable for all healthcare workers. eILS is a more advanced 5 hour course for clinical staff who may need to manage a deteriorating patient or lead the initial response to a cardiac arrest.
