This combined qualification meets HSE workplace first aid requirements and EYFS paediatric first aid requirements in a single course. Candidates receive two Qualsafe certificates, both valid for 3 years. Learners will be required to repeat the full 1 day course in order to requalify.

This combined Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) and Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification and is HSE and OFSTED compliant. Your trainer is a Registered Nurse with years of experience in Emergency Departments who trains Advanced Life and Advanced Paediatric Support to medical and nursing staff in acute hospital environments.
This accredited Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work and Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed for those who have a specific role responsibility at work to provide first aid to both adults and children. It has been specifically designed for those who need to meet both OFSTED criteria and HSE guidelines.
What Is Covered?
Over 1 extended day, learners will develop the knowledge and practical competencies needed to provide effective first aid care for adults, children and infants. Topics include CPR and AED use, choking, wounds and bleeding, managing an unconscious casualty, and more.
Pre-Course Preparation
Pre-course preparation instructions are sent by email on confirmation of booking. You will receive all course manuals at least 2 weeks prior to the course date.
Certification
Candidates are continually assessed throughout the course and will be required to gain a pass mark on one multiple choice assessment. Those who successfully pass will receive Qualsafe certificates for both courses, valid for 3 years.
