Resuscitation Council UK Accredited
This course is accredited by the Resuscitation Council UK and meets the Core Skills Training Framework (CSTF) Level 3 in Adult Resuscitation. CPD points are awarded following attendance. The certificate is valid for one year, in line with Resuscitation Council UK guidelines for annual life support refreshers.
What this course covers
The Immediate Life Support course is a specialised course designed to equip healthcare professionals with a variety of skills, from managing a deteriorating adult, identifying causes of deterioration and treating cardiorespiratory arrest in adults, to developing team leadership skills and understanding what it takes to be an effective team member in an emergency.
This Resuscitation Council accredited course is designed for healthcare professionals who may have to act as the first responder in an emergency, providing them with skills to treat adults in cardiac arrest before a supporting team arrives.
This course meets the Core Skills Training Framework (CSTF) Level 3 in Adult Resuscitation. Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points are also awarded following attendance.
Course Structure
The eILS course combines half a day of e-learning with half a day of face-to-face learning at our training centre, or alternatively at your own venue if you have a number of team members who require training.
Pre-Course Preparation
Before the course, you will be registered on our Learning Management System (LMS). Here, you can access pre-course modules and a multiple choice question (MCQ) paper that will prepare you for your face-to-face session. You will receive your course manual at least two weeks before the course.
