The Qualsafe Level 2 Award in Understanding Mental Health in the Workplace (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification. Training is delivered by a qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse and Approved MHFA Instructor. The certificate is valid for 3 years.
What this course covers
1 in 4 people in the UK are likely to experience mental health issues each year. By developing an understanding of common mental health issues, employees can become mental health advocates and encourage positive conversations about mental health in the workplace.
This Qualsafe Level 2 Award in Understanding Mental Health in the Workplace (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of common mental health conditions in the workplace and how best to offer support and guidance to colleagues.
What Is Covered?
Throughout this 1 day course, learners will develop an understanding of the importance of positive mental health and wellbeing in the workplace and the role that everyone plays in recognising mental health issues at work. Learners will gain knowledge and understanding of common mental health illnesses such as depression, stress and anxiety, eating disorders, self-harm and suicide from a Registered Mental Health Nurse and Approved MHFA Instructor.
Certification
Candidates are required to pass one multiple choice assessment. Those who successfully pass will receive a Qualsafe certificate that is valid for 3 years.
