Chris qualified as a registered nurse in 2004. During his career, he has worked within Emergency Departments and as a Resuscitation Training Officer within NHS organisations across Merseyside. He has also practiced as a Remote Island Nurse Practitioner in NHS Shetland, a Paramedic Team Leader within NHS Scotland, and an Advanced Nurse Practitioner within the Welsh Ambulance Service.
He has also held academic posts as a Lecturer Practitioner, Programme Lead for Advanced Clinical Practice and is currently Associate Head of Post Graduate Medical Education at Edge Hill University. Chris is an Advanced Life Support Instructor, Advanced Paediatric Life Support Instructor, and a Generic Course Instructor for the Resuscitation Council (UK) and the Advanced Life Support Group. Chris has a passion for training and consistently receives learner feedback that his facilitated learning is delivered to a high standard, is fun, enjoyable and relevant to individual learners’ clinical practice areas.
