Following a 35 year career in the chemical industry, Ronnie took early retirement to work in the outdoor sector where he holds mountaineering/climbing and paddlesport instructor qualifications. Caring for people in remote locations took him down an educational path of higher first aid and first response qualifications. In his clinical role, Ronnie works bank shifts on emergency ambulances (PES), provides medical support for both indoor (large capacity) and outdoor (remote) events, and undertakes medical repatriations.
Ronnie also is a freelance trainer delivering First Aid at Work, Outdoor First Aid and Basic Life Support. He holds qualifications in ILS and First Responder (FREC) and Internal Quality Assurance (IQA).
